| So now that my car is finally running great, I thought I would throw together this post. Breifly, last November my timing belt slipped 3 teeth due to a faulty tensioner install by the dealer that resulted in a busted ringland in #6 secondary to detonation. This May/June Damon Z pulled the engine for me. The block itself looked great, fortunately, so we only had to hone the cylinders. Here is a "before" picture of the engine:
Here is the engine in Damon's garage:
Here is a pic of #2/4/6:

So the block went to Competition Machine of Plano for re-assembly, honing, and drilling of the water passages to remove the flashing. Damon and I added a few upgrades before dropping the engine back in, including Stillen SMICs, UD pulley, Sport 500s, Inconel manifolds, etc:
The engine bay looks much better now:

After the rebuild, the car drove great for the 1K mile break-in period. Shortly thereafter, it was time to tune. On the initial tuning session, the car started running extremely rich suddenly due to a massive boost leak at the carbon canister. After removing the CC, another tuning session was disrupted secondary to a large exhaust leak that developed at the downpipes:
My divorced flange DPs are literally "divorced" from their "flanges"! The third issue was a cam timing problem, which leads me into Kyle at SGP. I dropped the car off in Houston for a week, and this is what I get after I pick it up:
470 rwhp and 540 ft/lbs torque at 24 psi on 104 octane. Not too bad for sport 500s. Here is the beautiful A/F curve:
 And at higher boost:
The car is very responsive now with minimal lag. You basically cannot go wrong with DamonZ and Kyle at SGP! Now I get to finally enjoy the car at MSR.
